12 Wants to Hear Your Concerns! EVENT 3/21

Cops and Clippers is Back! Next Event is 3/21/19 Check out Our Last Clippers & Cops Event!! February 21 marked the kick off for the community event titled Clippers and Cops. The community came out to talk face to face with members of the local police force in hopes of gaining understanding and clarity, while building a relationship between the two parties. The event was moderated by Reec Swiney of Hot 107.9 and Ty Dennis(APD Detective / Task Force Officer with ATF) who is also the brainchild of the program. Ty Dennis (APD) & Reec (Hot 107.9) Topics included: What to do when you get pulled over What Does the community expect from the police Teen crime Police brutality and excessive force Gang policing and prevention One of the most interesting portions of the event was a tutorial on citizen etiquette when getting pulled over. Reec & PAYUSA Roll Out The Red Carpet Treatment For New Moms on V-Day

Positive American Youth & Culture Hair Salon joined up to "Roll Out The Red Carpet" for new moms and ladies in need of a little pampering, Pre-Valentines day weekend. Ladies were provided tons of free salon services, chocolate strawberries, fruit, beverages and sweet treats. New moms walked away with brand new baby furniture! The event was hosted by Reec of Hot 107.9 and music by DJ Deceptacon. This mini event sets a nice back drop to an upcoming event that Positive American Youth will be putting on in May labeled "Reec's Mega Baby Shower". The Mega Baby Shower will provide 1,007 New moms with gifts and resources!

Reec Brings out BBQ, Dunk Tanks and Horses! Reec Treats The City Recap

Reec Treats the City has been a hit with multiple communities. Reec has teamed up with Positive American Youth and Wendy's to provide free cook outs around metro Atlanta this summer and fall. This past event was carnival themed with cotton candy, popcorn, horse ride (Courtesy of Brannu Horses) and of course free food! Kenyatta Martin, author of Talents had his Motor Club bring out Sling shots for the kids to see. Hot 107.9's J.Nicks also made an appearance.
